Diffuse sundamag ewith variable skin colour changes reflecting sun damage. The skin is brown red and white and normal colour. These changes are very common in older fair skinned women who have had a lot of unprotected sun exposure.

Extensive thick keratotic scaly patches. Bald scalp commonly involved emphasizing the importance of wearing hats and usuing screen golfers and sailors need to take particular care.

Thick build up of keratin scale that grows outwards. There is no downward invasion into the dermis. Thicker lesions need to be carefully evaluated to be sure that skin cancer is not present.
